- In the cave Spock goes into a trance to simulate illness. He promptly falls down, but luckily his trusty friends are there to catch him. Vulcan minds move in mysterious ways.
- As mentioned on the previous page, Spock remarks that Starfleet could send robot probes to the Andromeda galaxy to contact Rojan's people and tell them that there's plenty of real estate to go around. This after Rojan proudly underlined the warlike nature of the Andromedans.
