Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1964)
The Series
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was produced by the prolific Allen Irwin. It is about the incredibly advanced submarine Seaview, captained by the intrepid Lee Crane. The sub is crewed by its creator, Admiral Nelson, Lt. Commander Chip Morton and the rest of the gang. The series was spawned by the film Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and is enjoyable in an undemanding sort of way. Good for a laugh :-). It ran for 4 years and 110 episodes.
