Land of the Giants (1968)
The Series
Land of the Giants was the fourth series produced by the prolific Allen Irwin. The stratocruiser Spindrift is diverted from a routine flight to a world where everything is 12 times larger than in ours. The giants have been doing experiments, one of which caused the ship to go adrift. The series then followed the travails of the little people on the Giants' planet. It was Allen's most expensive series at more than $250 000 a pop.

The plot: The little people discover a communications station which can reach Earth, while a giant scientist discovers truth foam. When sprayed on someone that person immediately confesses. Unfortunately it turns out to be lethal.
- Olds in A Place Called Earth, episode aired January 12, 1969 (season 2), directed by Harmon Jones
The plot: Earthmen from the future land on the planet of the Giants and turn out to cause more problems than the Giants even.
