Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955)
The Series
The old black and white series episodes were introduced by Mr Hitchcock himself. (The eighties series featured recycled and colourised versions of the introductions.) The series ran from 1955 to 1962, to a total of 266 episodes. Alfred Hitchcock Presents specialised in horror, mystery and suspense tales with a twist, hosted by Hitch with an evil glint in his eye. He directed 20 of the episodes.
