Phone Call from a Stranger (1952)

Notes

  • Before the crash the plane makes a rough landing after being redirected due to a storm. What is obviously a model of the propeller passenger plane is shown banging down on the runway, slewing sideways, and finally performing a kind of nosedive with the tail lifting high before settling down with a thump. Yet when the passengers are shown moments later no-one looks like they just had the scare of their lives. No hysterics, no hand luggage lying about. Even first-time flyer Binky looks pretty calm!
