Gunpoint Notes

  • When facing Drago in Nate Harlan's Lucas drags along the only witness of the killings of the two men in the telegraph office. Hmmm. If I were Drago I would simply take the guy out at the first opportunity. BAM. No witness.

  • Galloping along after Drago the posse happens upon Nate playing solitaire in some ruins, having slaughtered four Apache. He comments on how long it took Lucas to organise the posse ... but I still think the only way he could have gotten there ahead of them is by BEAMING there.

  • When Uvalde is chased by the three Apache the long shots show her horse cantering across a grassy field, followed in a somewhat leisurely manner by her pursuers. Close-ups, however, show a high-speed chase across a grassless stretch.

  • At the end of the film Uvalde and Chad walk off to Colorado. Hmmm. Could have sworn I spotted some horses somewhere.
